Stopped by a job site while we were working at the Villages of West Clay to see a project we installed approximately three years ago.

Love doing a drive-by around year three because that's the time frame in which the plants have fully recovered and are starting to reach a more established look.

When people ask me how long it will take for their landscape to look good, I use the old phrase that my grandmother taught me when referring to the plantings, "The first year they sleep, the second year they creep, and the third year they leap!"

She always had a way of making things seem simple.
